Assalamualaikum.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim :)

First of all, please forgive me if there's any wrong informations shared here. & Please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm still learning and I'm taking notes while listening. Some might interprets a simple 'beautiful' differently, so imagine a 2-days event filled with words of wisdom!! :) May Allah s.w.t. guides us along the way.

Just so you know, as I'm currently pressing my keyboard's buttons.... I can't stop smiling :)))) Positive vibes running through me as I'm reminiscing those 2days! Subhanallah, an event I shall never forget!

It's called Twins of Faith; knowledge & action. This may sounds cliche to all of us but none of us can ever deny it ; "What's knowledge without action? and what's action without knowledge?". Am I right or right? The event gathered international & local speakers. Subhanallah, they are just mind-blowing.

Sheikh Yahya Ibrahim : He said "you are the BEST OF NATION" and when he said 'you', he means us muslim/muslimah :) Sheikh reminds us that the moment we stop seeking Akhirah, we will fall, the moment we turn, Allah turn from us. Allahuakbar, do we really wanna fall? Do we really want Allah to stop looking after us? :'O I surely know I do not want that to happen.

"Islam is a WAY of LIFE" ; yes, Sheikh reminds us of the words we see on websites and that we hear almost from every wise man. It's undeniable cse it's true, we should make the world works around Islam, not making Islam works around the worldly things. Islam should be the core of everything. Check ourselves, are we thirsty for deen, for good, for ilm'? If we are, then it's good and we should never stop being thirsty. If we aren't, then it's time to make a change, gain knowledge, gain as much as we can, and then act upon it. Something that Sheikh Yahya said that paused me for awhile was this.."What Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told you to do, he DID. Before you believe, he BELIEVED". I can't explain why but this really means something to me. I reaaaally wish I could explain it but it's just too hard to find the right words.. mhmm why don't I let you mingle with your thoughts? :) not only that, one piece of Sheikh's advice that I LOVE so much is "Don't judge someone at a moment of their life only". Ya Allah, sometimes I tend to forget and I've done that a lot. By means, judging someone based on THAT MOMENT only without even having second thoughts that it may or may not actually how it looks like. Have you? If so, let's change ourselves, stop judging people around us, & never ever look at ourselves better than the others. #Reminder.

Sheikh Alaa El-Sayed : "Foundation of this nation starts from HOME". We can opt to ignore it but deep in our hearts, it is absolutely true, right? Everything starts from the home :) Let's build one brick at a time. Read, learn, acquire knowledge and then, walk the talk ;) Put those inputs we gained into actions!! But wait.... there will be difficulties, there will be obstacles, there will be tests after tests... and so we must fight them all with patience! A missile loaded with patience, tehee :D

Before I forgot, Sheikh Alaa acknowledged us about the children's right BEFORE they are even born. Sounds intimidating right? Don't be scared, Allah's here. So let's continue, shall we? :) First he said, we must protect our children's right by choosing the right spouse. Then, a strong & trustworthy spouse which are stated in the Quran. Next, a spouse with religious background & good moral conduct which are stated in the Sunnah. We've heard this so many times as well, but for me it's good to be reminded again :) And wait, not only this, Sheikh Alaa also reminded us the 3 main criteria for friends! This should be one of the most important notes I've taken because friends surrounded our lives and they have such major influences on us too. So the first one is, when we see them, they will remind us of Allah s.w.t. Then, they will guide us to the path of Allah s.w.t. Last but not least, when they speak to us, they remind us about hereafter (Akhirah). Simple criteria that's pretty hard to find nowadays. But inshaAllah, never lose hope and let's be that kind of friend to our friends!! InshaAllah we can!! :))

Sheikh Alaa also shared with us the exemplary women of the past such as Khadijah, Fatimah, Aisyah & Ummu Salamah (may Allah bless each one of them). "You're not a slave to anyone or anything except to Allah s.w.t.". Sometimes we women do not remember this, we slave ourselves to men, we slave ourselves to fashion and we forgot that we should be worshipping Allah s.w.t instead.

He said something about our identity, he asked us the audiences, "what will be your legacy?". You know, like Rasulullah and his companions left such a great legacy. And as in for our current days, we know how the Presidents, Football players and etc left their legacies as well. But have we ever thought about our OWN LEGACY?? Frankly, I haven't given it a single thought at all. && NOW, I definitely want my family, my friends and my future children(HEHEHE) to remember me as someone with good qualities, strong faith in Islam, be the Muslimah that act as a true Muslimah as well :) MashaAllah the list goes on and on and on :DD I hope I'll achieve it! & I wanna drag everyone around me too! ;) InshaAllah. #Reminder.

Sheikh Navaid Aziz : I love his session too! *well, I love every single session I attended :p* "Be Forgiving", Sheikh said that forgiveness is the key and I honestly believe that! I always remind myself that keeping grudges wouldn't solve anything. Asking for someone's forgiveness (even though that someone is at fault) doesn't mean that we are wrong, it's just that we are being the bigger person and do not want to exaggerate a small thing to become bigger where in the end we forgot the reasons we fought in the first place. Right? ;) Okay, and then Sheikh also said that we have to be just, with justice we can lead a better life. Couldn't agree more.

Here I would be honour to quote something from Sheikh Navaid, and in which he quoted from Ar-Romi *I'm not sure the exact spelling*, "Yesterday I was clever, I thought I want to change the world. Today I am wise, I will change myself". Well said, I was blown away by this quote :))) He also quoted something from a famous movie, Transformer ; "Fate rarely calls on the people at the time of their choosing". I'm not really sure about this quote but from where I see it, I think it's like we choose our own paths, we choose where we're going, we are in charge for our own stories. #Reminder.

Sheikh Hussein Yee : First of all, Sheikh Hussein Yee is from Malaysia, he reverted to Islam many many years ago, and subhanallah he gave such simple session and he also made us memorized a short Hadith! :) I'm not sure how to write the arabic version of it but let me share the meaning of the hadith which is "Rasululah s.a.w reminds that, this ummah will not do anything to harm themselves and will not do anything that harm others". *something like this* A great Ummah mashaAllah! :) Remember this pleaseeeeeee, don't harm our family, our friends, or even anyone. Even those who are not-yet-a-Muslim. && Oohh, Sheikh even introduced this, "I.S.L.A.M. : I Shall Love All Menkind". Ain't that beautiful?! hehehe!

Talk about not-yet-a-Muslim, Sheikh Hussein Yee said he prefer to call those who are not Muslims as not-yet-a-Muslim because as we all know everyone is born as a Muslim, but as we grow, we follow our family's religion and all. It's only about time that someone who is not a Muslim will revert *use this term instead of convert :)* back to Islam. & thus, we should be thankful that we are born in Muslims family. Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah.

Sheikh Hussein Yee said something about people nowadays do not stand on their own beliefs by means, we prefer to follow the majority and sometimes the majority will mislead us from the path of Allah s.w.t. So, it's not about the majority or minority, it's about the true practice of Islam. Seeking knowledge is the best way to do so. Don't speak about Allah's religion without referring to Quran & Sunnah. Always be sure the Hadith we refer/use is authentic before we use it as reference, & thus, let's find ourselves classes that teach or explain about Hadiths, Sunnah & Quran! :) #Reminder.

Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips : MashaAllah he got this voice that kinda scares me for awhile, tehee! Serious voice I must say but actually he's just like the other speakers, friendly indeed :) Anyway, I love this one where he said "Sahabah (Rasulullah s.a.w.'s companions) learn 10 verses at a time, they will not move on to the next verse unless they gained knowledge and can practice them". MashaAllah, wowwww I'm amazed :O Are you? Can you see how the Sahabah walk the talk? Subhanallah.. I wish I could be like them.. must try harder!!! As Bilal Philips said "If you write 10 words, but your faith has not increased, check yourself". Have we been doing everything sincerely? Have I? Have you?

Another note taken from what Bilal Philips have shared with us, is about the types of student. ooohhh I LOVE THIS! There are 2 kinds of students ; (1) Student who happens to be Muslim, (2) Muslim who happens to be Student. If this is a trivia question, which one will you choose? The first one or the second one????...........**drumrolls**.......We should BE the second one!!! Muslim who happens to be Student, where we must always always & always put Islam first above anything else. This also works for those who are currently working, just change the 'student' into worker/etc and see, which one are you? :) Tehee! #Reminder.

MashaAllah there were so many quotes, true stories, words of wisdom, advices and etc given! I was absolutely overloaded at one point that I thought I was about to explode! Hehehe :DD I would love to write more but I think that's almost all of it, cse some are randomly jotted down in my small notepad & I'm not sure how to explain them! Forgive me please! ;)

By the way...........

Not only the speakers gave such inspiring talks,but the entertainers like Boonaa Mohammed *who is my favourite & I CRIED when I saw him on stage!! :'')*, Muslim Belal, Muadz Dzulkefli, Shinji Moriwaki and others also fed our souls!! & I fell in love with Muadz Dzulkefli's voice, his voice is soooo amazing I could listen to him all day long, haha. Muslim Belal shared his own stories on how he reverted into Islam, I had another teary moment when he said his Mother reverted into Islam not so long after him. Subhanallah :'))

I was moved by all of them and I couldn't thank them personally except by sharing what I've learnt with YOU! InshaAllah we'll gain more by sharing and discussing each other's opinions, I definitely do not want to stop seeking knowledge. But most of all, I want to put them into practice, as much as I can & I want to please HIM. InshaAllah will try harder, & I hope YOU WILL too! Together, seeking His pleasure and remember, do everything for His sake ;)

p/s: This was one of the best events I've experienced and it was extra special because I went there with my very own high-school bestfriend, Amalina! :) A memorable experience indeed, alhamdulillah :'))

It's been months since I last updated my blog! *& to be honest, it feels like years!* Caught up with assignments, presentations, more assignments, tests, and final exams. && Alhamdulillah, now I'm on holiday til March. Phewhh, shall make full use of this break! My last paper was on 20th of January and it's been 8days of jalan-jalan-cari-makan-goyang-kaki kind of cuti ;)

I don't wanna bore you with my daily routines, so I'ma cut it short and see you on the next post! InshaAllah I'm going to update about Twins of Faith! :))

How are you? How's your Imaan? Hope all is well :)

Anyway, post kali ni nak saya nak story pasal forum Fiesta Muda Mudi yang dianjurkan oleh UiTM untuk pelajar-pelajarnya. Before that, nak share sikit macam mana boleh TERpergi forum ni... Hehe, well, semalam masuk je kelas ada kawan edarkan flyers and the only thing that caught my eyes was the name I saw on the flyer. It's Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid!!!! Subhanallah, he's my fav Ustaz :DD Ustaz dalam rancangan Ihya Ramadhan kat TV Al-Hijrah tuuuu :))

Anyway, the forum bukan ada Ustaz Don je, ada sorang lagi Ustaz who is a caunselor actually, I didn't get his full name, but I know they call him Ustaz Nik :D

Forum ni membincangkan tentang Hiburan Dalam Islam, mula pukul 9 malam (11 Oktober 2011) di Pusat Islam UiTM. So I'll try my best to share about the contents ok? InshaAllah, if ada anything yg sounds wrong, just correct me! Oh, something that I reaaaaally love about Ustaz Don is that he ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS remind us the audience or anyone that spot his mistakes while he's giving any Islamic informations to correct him. He's humble right? :)

Anyway, Ustaz Don was asked to share with us the audience on that day... "Apa hukum hiburan dalam Islam?" I'm not going to straight away tell the hukum now.. Let me briefly share what Ustaz Don explained throughout the talk :) InshaAllah I'll try my best k?

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

First of all, hiburan sendiri wujud ketika di zaman Rasulullah s.a.w. Terdapat pendapat yang mengatakan "Hiburan yang mampu menenangkan jiwa adalah diHARUSkan dalam Islam dengan syarat hiburan itu tidak mengganggu kehidupan seharian kita". Before I proceed any further, what he meant by tidak mengganggu kehidupan seharian, is that hiburan itu tidak menghalang kita daripada untuk melakukan sebarang pekerjaan sebagai contoh semasa nak membeli barang dapur di pasaraya, tiba-tiba terdengar lagu yang kita suka. Kita terus berhenti and menyanyi or menari ikut lagu tu, sampai tergendala kerja sebenar kita. Haaa, kalau mcmni, kita kena berpada-pada dengan hiburan :) *lebih kurang mcmni lah contoh yg Ustaz tu guna haritu, hehe*

Ok, next.. tiada salahnya kita mendengar muzik dari barat ke, timur ke, timur tengah ke, utara ke, selatan ke.. asalkan muzik itu tidak mempermainkan agama kita sendiri. Ada yang bertanya kepada Ustaz "Apakah hukum bermain instrumen-instrumen muzik pula?" Jawab Ustaz, "First you have to differentiate between ENTERTAINMENT and ENTERTAINING." Everyone laughed as he started speak in English.. but then he continued, "Betoi laa. Awat hampa gelak.. Hampa ingat ceq tak gheti cakap English ka.. hampa kena tau beza Entertainment dan Entertaining". Ok so he continued again ;

"Sometimes, an entertainment is not guaranteed to be entertaining. But, something that is entertaining is most probably an entertainment"

Fahamkah anda? Beginilah.. entertainment = hiburan & entertaining = menghiburkan. So to translate it;

"Kadangkala, suatu hiburan itu belum tentu lagi menghiburkan. Tetapi selalunya, suatu yang menghiburkan itu sudah tentunya suatu hiburan." Maksudnya disini, hiburan seperti muzik, tarian, rancangan televisyen, konsert, dan macam-macam lagi jenis hiburan belum tentu lagi mampu menghiburkan hati kita ini. Namun, sesuatu yang mampu menghiburkan hati sudah pastinya adalah hiburan. Ustaz said that kalimah Allah sendiri mampu menenangkan jiwa dan menjadi ubat atau penawar hati yang terbaik untuk seseorang itu. Maka, sekiranya hati seseorang itu telah terubat, telah terhibur hanya dgn membaca kalimah Allah, bukankah itu sudah menjadi hiburan? Haaaa.. mari kita renungkan :) Di sini, kita boleh katakan, hiburan itu sangatlah subjektif sebenarnya, sukar untuk ditakrifkan.

Berbalik kepada soalan apakah hukum bermain instrumen muzik, tiada hukum di dalam Islam berkenaan bermain instrumen muzik kerana Allah s.w.t mencipta manusia dalam bentuk fitrah dan sudah menjadi fitrah manusia untuk berhibur (tidak kiralah dengan bermain instumen muzik or menyanyi, or menari or anything that's called hiburan :)). Namun kita sebagai seorang Muslim, haruslah memandu fitrah kita ini dengan neraca agama agar kita tidak lari dari landasan agama yang sebenar.

Not only that, ada yang bertanya "boleh ke kalau nak amek kelas belajar main gitar?" Ustaz Don jawab dengan mudahnya.. "Daripada belajar main gitar, baik belajar fardhu ain.." Islam tidak melarang, tetapi sekiranya masa dan usaha boleh diberikan untuk belajar main gitar, mengapa kita tidak menggunakan masa itu untuk belajar berkenaan fardhu ain itu dulu? Renung-renungkan.. :))

So to answer the question of apa hukum hiburan dalam Islam, hiburan dibenarkan selagi ianya berpandukan syarak dan tidak melanggar aqidah kita sebagai seorang Muslim. Paling utama, belajarlah dan dalamilah agama kita ini, iaitu Islam. Setelah kita belajar dan dalaminya, inshaAllah kita akan mampu melihat dan membezakan antara suatu yang baik dan buruk :)

p/s: Something I found out about Ustaz Don is that he's a die-hard fan of Linkin Park ;) So what does that say about listening to western music? hehehehehe. Berhibur tu boleh asalkan kita tidak melanggar hukum syarak dan aqidah sebagai seorang Muslim, ingat tu! :)

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Today is a very meaningful day to me! MashaAllah, guess what? :DD Dapat tgk Wardina Safiyyah live, she was giving a talk in UiTM! Along with Sham Kamikaze & Abu Bakar (Raihan).. Alhamdulillah, ada jgk rezeki nak tengok & dengar kak Dina live. Syukur sangat-sangat. She's one of my idols! :))

Let me quote some of the main points she said (not the exact words but something like it) ;

"If a man touches you, he doesn't really love you."

"You should have a principle, satu prinsip where no matter what happens adik-adik takkan langgar prinsip tu!"

"Everything starts with salaah (solat), fahamkan kenapa kita kena solat"

"Jika Allah mahu memberi hidayah kepada seseorang yang jahil tentang agama, mungkin orang itu will turns out to be better than us! Anytime... So, we have to keep improving ourselves.."

"Everything starts by questioning ourselves...."

Here's what I'd love to quote from Abu Bakar! ;

"Janganlah tunggu nak jadi baik, baru nak buat baik.... terus je buat kebaikan tu, jangan tunggu-tunggu"

Sama-sama kita renung-renungkan cebisan kata-kata mereka ini, and let's pray Allah SWT akan memberi Nur dan Hidayah-Nya kepada kita. InshaAllah..

Assalamualaikum wbt,

At random days, random time I'll received random texts from my sayang Amalina. She's like a mobile-reminder, hehe in a good way of course :) Alhamdulillah, kawan macamnilah yang kita perlukan, bukan begitu? InshaAllah I'll try to be a good friend to all of my friends as well.

Kalau kita sayang seseorang itu, kita mesti nak masuk Syurga dengan dia kan? Jadi, kalau kita nak menuju kebaikan, tiada salahnya kalau kita bawa rakan-rakan, keluarga dan mereka di sekeliling kita ini bersama kita :) Sayang itu bukan hanya diukur dari hadiah yang boleh dinilai oleh mata kasar, tetapi sayang itu juga boleh dinilai dengan niat seseorang itu yang ikhlas ingin melihat kita menjadi lebih baik.

Right now, I'm trying to improve myself, slowly but definitely thrilled to take this challenge. I know this road might be challenging for now as I have to contain myself but for a better Hereafter, why not? InshaAllah, moga Allah SWT permudahkan segalanya.

Anyway, I just wanna quote something from Amal, something from her texts ; "Islah Nafsak Wadu' Ghairak" which means "Baiki diri dan ajak orang lain"... Haaa kalau macamtu, JOM KITA SAMA-SAMA PERBAIKI DIRI! :DD ;))

Currently reading Suhaib Webb's website, aaaahhh his website is one of my fav now! Anyway, I just wanna quote something from his post entitled "Why Do People Have to Leave Each Other?".

“…whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And God hears and knows all things.” (Qur’an 2: 256)

There is a crucial lesson in this verse: that there is only one handhold that never breaks. There is only one place where we can lay our dependencies. There is only one relationship that should define our self-worth and only one source from which to seek our ultimate happiness, fulfillment, and security. That place is God.

Always remember that He is the One that we can ALWAYSSSSSSSSSS depend on, He knows us better than we could ever imagine :) Unbreakable bond, it is, so let's cherish that bond and always be thankful to Him! InshaAllah ya kawan-kawan ;)

Le familia!!

This is my beloved family, but incomplete

'Cse Angah, Kaklin & Irfan weren't in the picture.

Having a family makes me feel so blessed :')

They are always there despite anything.

They will push you to be better.

They will support you no matter how bad you stumbled.

They will put on smiley face of them just so you wouldn't feel sad.

They wouldn't underestimate you.

They simple are THE BEST.

I guess a family institution is the BEST institution in the whole wide world.

Parents are the teachers.

Siblings are the friends.

Together, we make a complete schooling environment.

InshaAllah, in the future....I wannabe,

A bestfriend to my future husband and A good teacher to my future children.

28 Ramadhan 1432 Hijrah.

Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahiwabarakatuh.

Harini dah masuk hari ke 28 kita berpuasa, MashaAllah, cepatnya masa sudah berlalu. Namun, hati kecil ini merasakan Ramadhan kali ini merupakan Ramadhan yang paling bermakna buat diri ini yang terlalu kecil dimata-Nya. Alhamdulillah, mungkin ramai yang telah lebih lama berjaya menghayati Ramadhan, tahniah diucapkan :))) Buat pertama kalinya saya mampu menghayati sedikit demi sedikit makna sebenar Ramadhan. Dulu reti berlapar dan dahaga di waktu siang, dan malam ke masjid menunaikan tarawikh tanpa memikirkan betapa mulianya bulan ini dimana Pintu Syurga dibuka seluas-luasnya, dan Pintu Neraka pula ditutup. Bahkan pintu keampunan Allah SWT juga dibuka dengan lebarnya, MashaAllah. Buku karya Dr.'Aidh Bin 'Abdullah Al-Qarni ini merupakan pemberian daripada teman rapat saya (mentioned in previous post). MashaAllah, buku ini sangat sangat sangatlah bagus untuk dijadikan bahan bacaan bagi kita kaum Hawa. It hits me right from the very beginning, it does. What do I mean by this? In simpler words, kita kaum Hawa ini kadang-kadang terlalu leka hingga terlupa. Astaghfirullahalazim. Saya sendiri sering melakukan pelbagai kesilapan dan kelalaian selama ni.Sebagai contoh, kita ini terlalu terbawa-bawa dgn nikmat dunia terutamanya dunia Barat sehingga kita terlupa bahawa terdapat REAL ICONS in Islam, Subhanallah!

Asiyah R.A iaitu isteri Firaun, kemudian Maryam, Khadijah, Aisyah, Asma' dan Fatimah (semoga Allah SWT meredhai mereka semua). Mereka ini merupakan our ICONS, ROLE MODELS in Islam especially to us, women. Sometimes we tend to adore, admire, look up and worship those celebrities either locally or internationally. It's not wrong to do so, but as long as tidak melanggar hukum agama. Sama-samalah kita beringat dan mengingatkan diri sendiri serta orang di sekeliling kita, insyaAllah world will be a better place :) Why so? If we follow the women I've mentioned, Subhanallah, how beautiful their characters, their du'as, their patiences and I don't have to see them to know whether they are beautiful or not, sebab tingkah laku yang baik mencerminkan kecantikan seseorang itu secara tidak langsung. As the saying "Beauty comes from deep within" :) Wallahi it's so true. Imagine if I describe a woman ; "She is such a strong woman, she is gracious, patience, loving and pious." Wouldn't you imagine someone that is SO BEAUTIFUL? I know I can definitely imagine her beauty :) and in this case, the women I've mentioned above is beyond imagination, May Allah SWT bless each and every single one of them.

Tapi apa kaitannya dgn 'world will be a better place'? Wanita berperanan penting terhadap lelaki, di mana jika kita mampu menjaga dan mengawal diri, sebagai contoh menutup aurat, berkata-kata hanya perkara yang baik dan seumpamanya, insyaAllah para lelaki di luar sana juga akan lebih mampu menjaga dan mengawal nafsu mereka. Islam itu indah, maka kita sebagai penganutnya juga boleh menghiaskan diri kita dengan keindahan Islam, insyaAllah.

Tiada kata yang mampu saya bibitkan lagi, bacalah.. bacalah.. bacalah buku ini. InsyaAllah kita akan mendapat kalau tidak banyak, sedikit ilmu untuk menjadi seorang Wanita yang bahagia dan secara tidak langsung, insyaAllah menjadi wanita yang solehah :))

Such a peaceful night, and so I'm taking this chance to post a new entry.

On last Wednesday, 10th Aug 2011 I had my iftar with my beautiful girlfriends. Alhamdulillah managed to meet all three bestfriends of mine, Amalina, Hanna & Sarah :) It's been years since we last gathered the Fourever. I solat Asar with Hanna at Masjid Al-Muttaqin (Wangsa Melawati) and later we jemput Amal at her place, lastly jemput Sarah. Went to Bazaar Melawati (my old-time fav bazaar! :D), went to the Masjid Al-Muttaqin again, waiting for Maghrib and we berbuka & prayed there. Tadarus sekejap and then solat Isyak & Tarawikh together. MasyaAllah, terasa bahagia dan lapang sangat dada ni pada malam tu. A simple meet-up session with the girlfriends, but beyond meaningful :)

Thank you Hanna for the bag all the way from Germany & thank you so much Amal for the book as well. Been wanting to get the book for myself but who would ever thought that my own bestfriend bought it for me! :D Speechless. Hehehe

On Thursday, 11th Aug 2011 went to Malacca with Aisyah & Tok (tumpang Paktam :DD) Spent two nights there! Seronok tak terhingga dapat berpuasa & tarawikh with my cousins and their family. Wani who is 22, I'm 21, Fizah 20 and Aisyah 19, we've been growing up together since forever. I love them so much! Kami bermuhasabah diri on the 1st night, seriously seronok bila kita lihat orang-orang yg berubah menjadi lebih baik, tersentuh sangat hati kecil ni untuk menjadi Muslimah yang lebih baik. Harap-harap Allah swt tidak menarik hidayahNya daripada diri ini.

Meanwhile on Saturday, 13th Aug 2011my family and I menerima tetamu di rumah kami yang serba sederhana ini. Seronoknya apabila adik beradik, sepupu sepapat, pakcik makcik berkumpul bersama :) What makes it extra special is that our beloved Tok is here in KL to celebrate Ramadhan and insyaAllah AidilFitri with us. ALHAMDULILLAH :)))

Not to forget, we surprised my brother Alang & our uncle Paktam with a cake after berbuka & prayers!! They share the same birthdate which is 12th Aug, hehe :D Syukur alhamdulillah ada keluarga yang sebegini bahagia dan rapat. What more could I ever long for? Nothing :)

Those Iftars weren't planned well, impromptu plans always work best, Alhamdulillah kita semua masih dipanjangkan umur untuk menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak kali ini bersama mereka yang kita sayangi. Harapan diri ini adalah untuk menjadi lebih baik dari sebelum ini dan memenuhi Ramadhan kali ini dengan penuh hikmah, insyaAllah. Sama-sama kita berusaha mengecapi taqwa and His blessings.

Salam.

There are so many problems in this world, from the leaking water in the house to the war between countries. Sometimes, everything looks too complicated and we just couldn't find the strengths to face it. But we must remember, everything happens for at least a reason. He the Almighty will not simply put us in those situations if He knows we couldn't handle it.

I, myself am not a perfect person, not even close but I am trying hard to be better each day. I always try to find that courage in me, I am trying my best to uphold the faith in myself because I know, without faith I will fall much easier.

Some of my friends seek advices from me, even though I do not have much experiences in life, but I try to feed them with the most positive vibes there are because I know, that's what I will be needing too. Positive vibes to keep me going, going the distance. So people, search for that, once you got it, you'll know you are in a good pace :)

We may not have all the answers, but I know that we can change some of the things that are beyond our control. The vision of the future may be blurry, but use our hearts to see, follow the beat, the rhythm will lead, us to the right paths. InsyaAllah.

Remember that no matter what happens, we still have Him, the Almighty.

Always have faith in ourselves, in people that surrounds us, and in Him :)

Heyyy, I just realized that I didn't post any entry regarding my third semester's result and I already got the forth semester's result in my hand! Whoopps! I guess I wasn't on track after all with my blog :O

Luckily both my 3rd and 4th sem's results are EXACTLY THE SAME! I got the same GPA, how ironic? Jemi was like "WOWW!! Mana DL (Dean's List) broooo???" Hahahaha :))) Jemi Jemi *geleng kepala* But that's what I thought as well, "man, I didn't get DL, not once! hmmphhh :(". However, look at the bright side, it's a Degree program and Actuarial Science to be added in the equation, it's tougher than CHEMISTRY! (for me :S)

Alhamdulillah :)) & So, I would rather give myself a big round of applause too, hehe. One thing I learnt from the past, always be thankful with what you have, there's reason beneath it all. Sujud Syukur to Allah Yang Maha Esa, though I didn't managed to get DL, but at least I managed to maintain my result, wee bit more to reach that DL, HAVE FAITH HANISAH ZULKIFLI, HAVE FAITH! *pat my own back*

Remember I said I'ma treat Mom over a dinner? Well it turns out differently. It turned out, Momsie paid for Pizza Hut Delivery order, hahaha :DD We had pizzas,chicken wings,garlic breads,mushroom soup, da da da da, okaay malas nak ckp dah. haha! :p Watched the opening ceremony together and such a bummer! Tonight's the night of the first match for FIFA World Cup 2010 ! WOOT ! One thing I love bout FIFA is that, my abangs and Abah gonna be like the best friends ever :DD HEHEHEHE comels sangat okaay? :pp

Anyhoo, good game between Republic of South Africa and Mexico but it ended up with a tie match. Aaaaaaaa sooo close! RSA could've scored the second goal, missed it! One match is down, 63 matches to go. This is gonna be an exciting month! :DDD

Alhamdulillah, checked on my last sem's results. Well, it wasn't as good as the first one but somehow I passed all of the papers. Alhamdulillah, greatful for that. Somehow, I feel I could have done better but I didn't perform well. So I might just give my best for this Intersession's final & upcoming semesters. InsyaAllah. Too bad I have my examination on Mother's Day, yeah it sucks! and the funniest thing was Mom thought Saturday was the Mother's Day ( I don't know maybe she got all excited since she was in Sabah with my family, dang tak dapat ikut! :'(( STUPID PAPER ) later the night before Mother's Day she texted me and goes "Oh Cah tak ingat Mak ya, tak wish Ma pun, taknak lah kawan mcmni" HAMAIGAD isn't that cute??!?! I was with my friends at that time, having dinner, and I laughed while replying to her. I went "MAKKKKKK! MOTHER'S DAY ESOK LAAAAA! Cah baru nak wish midnight nanti, don't spoil it!hahahaha".

Luckily I love you soo much! you know I do riiiight,Ma? we have gone through the thick & thin of our family crisis. & I'm still pursuing my dreams so that I can make you proud. Hey.

I'm no longer a big fan of Facebook, more into Twitter now. It's simple. Hehee. Now I feel like laughing my lungs out. Well, of course. Once, we're all into Friendster, and then comes Myspace where most of us including me are like fckg addicted to it, kan?? Especially with the layouts and codes and stuffs. Noob. haha! Then comes the simpler ones, Facebook. Tho I'm not really into facebook now, but I like it still 'cause most of my relatives and friends are there :) IT HELPS A LOT ! But facebook makes me to do crazy things and one of them is stalking. Which actually isn't good. So, I'ma reduce fb-ing, so that I can reduce my stalking. HAHA. I wanna enjoy my present life, and I dowanna ruin it and jeopardize it with such attitudes to carry it along. HEHE.

There's just so many things to tell here ! But sokaay, I'ma just spill out the Very Important Ones je.

First, I've been thinking whether to take the Intersession during the semester break. Reasons? Simply because next sem,I'ma have like 9courses at once. wuttafish, I know. So, most of my classmates are like applying for intersession in order to reduce our courses next sem. Hopefully we'll be able to score it within just 4weeks of class ! SCARYYYYYYY, I KNOWWW !

Second, do tweet tweet me on twitter :) hehe would love to have more friends there ! It makes me feels closer to my friends :D

Thirdly, I'm like so screwed up, there's like 40++ days left til finals and I haven't start revising on a single course. Pfffftttt. Yeah, it sounds early to start up my revision but daymn. Introduction to Actuarial Mathematics is one course I'm considering as one of the killer subjects this sem. Management, needs hell lotsa EXAMPLES and I'm not good with such things. Mathematical Statistics is getting on my nerves as well. Tho it's simple but still, confusing here and there. General Insurance? ONE READING COURSE that's gonna make me fall asleep at the first line of the first para of the first page. LOL. Computer Programming is a fun course especially in the lab, but when it comes to write the programming code, I suck at it. :'((

Fourth, Helppppp !?!?! hahaha

Hey. Thank God, Alhamdulillah berjaya pulled it up and finished my Management's assignment! :) yayyyy! it took me a week to finish it? sheesshh. Tu laa, postponed je keje kann? LOL. Anyway, it's done! and I met Apiz just now, it was rather a quiet moment. Well, my tongue got tied up, I don't know why. Sheeessshh, usually I'm a talker. But I'm happy til now :)) 'cause I missed him. and I'm missing him now.

It's a feeling that is hard to get rid off, the missing thingy :D

Oh oh, watched Valentine's Day movie, I never celebrated Valentine's day but I just wanna watch this movie badly since there are couples of great actors in it!BUT Honestly it was overrated. It wasn't the best romantic movie I've watched, but somehow I like the messages the movie give ;) and it shed tears out of me, (somehow I'm a crybaby, such simple things also could be very sensitive to me especially this year,haha)

Okaay, I'm going back to Shah Alam tonight, starting the classes back after a week break. And again, haven't studied AT ALL for the upcoming tests. Shits shits shits. but let's pray I'ma be able to study in this short period of time!

Salam. On Friday morning, while I was ironing my Baju Kurung for class, Yani came to me with a sleepy face but her face was not as usual, she seems lil' confused and shocked. She handed me her phone, and the message caught me. I was in deep shocked. Try to calm myself. Both of us were in shocked and still couldn't believe what we read. As I'm done with ironing the Baju Kurung, I ran to grab my phone, and there it was, the same message that Yani received. Quickly I called Wann, my closest friend in Matriculations. First question that popped out was "Assalamualaikum, Wann..Wann, kau okaay?" and she said with her usual steady voice, "Aku okaay..." and I burst into tears right at the moment I heard her voice. :'( I know I shouldn't have cried but I couldn't control myself, I apologized for crying and she said "Hanisah.. dahla tu, takpa2, aku okaay.."

We talked for a few moments, just for awhile.

She's the toughest girl I knew. Since Matriculations, I knew how strong she is. I cried 'cause I know how closed she was with her Mom, but Allah loves her Mom. I bet you guys could pick up what actually happened.

This was an impromptu plan made by Abangs & Me :) hehe. Right after friday prayer we went to Ikea and ate Nasi Ayam over there,Angah's idea :) ahaa,nasib baik sedap! Worth the toll and stuffs. haha. We've been planning to go karaoke for ages but haven't got the chance. That was our lucky day 'cause at last the karaoke thingy CAME TRUE,haha, we headed off to Kepong. Natrah's on theatre

Salam. Watched this amazing storyline about a lady named Nadra Maarof but mostly known as Natrah. Her real name is Huberdina Maria Hertogh. I bet her story is well known by our grandparents 'cause my grandma,Tok also said "oh ya laa, dulu rusuhan semua ada sebab Natrah ni. Famous sgt kisah dia tauu". But I only knew bout it this year, after her death. And most unexpecting thing is that my best friend's great grandmother is Natrah's adopted sister. Knowing this, I feel like wanted to know more about Natrah. I found out that Erma Fatima's going to played her life's story on theatre,so I reaaaally wanted to watch it. But it took me ages to get the tickets,hehe always lupa. Alhamdulillah we got the tickets for the last show,on the 13th December 2009.

Sofia Jane acted as Natrah in her elderly age, she delivered it purely. So intense. She makes me feel soo sad, almost cried. Can you imagine,your whole life story is known by almost the whole world? Can you imagine you have to choose between the one who've been raising you up and the one who gave birth to you ? and the worst part is that both of them are having different religions and want you to follow them, can you imagine yourself in her place? Ya Allah,I don't know how would I be if I am in her place. Allah saja yang Maha Mengetahui.

Maya Karin acted as Natrah in her teens. Well done Maya Karin! You're a great actor and you delivered it well eventhough this is your first time doing theatre :) Watching Natrah's teen years, again I almost burst into tears. She had to be separated with the one she reaaaally love and care. She had to follow a totally stranger-but-her-real Mother. She suffered.

Umie Aida played as Che Aminah who's Natrah's adopted Mother, the one who raised her up. She taught Natrah to be a real Muslim. She took care of her very well. She loved her with all her heart, dialah Mak Natrah.
She's trying to protect Natrah from becoming a Christian since Natrah has been raised as a Muslim.

Samantha played as Adelaine,Natrah's real Mother. Imagine you're in her shoes now. You lost your daughter. You've been looking for her since then, but once you found her. Your daughter doesn't want you,eventhough you are her real Mother. Imagine that?

All of them suffered. I cried when Che Aminah stood on the left, Natrah in the middle and Adelaine on the right(during the play).
**Adelaine wanted her daughter back and she said Che Aminah never have the right to changed Natrah's religion in the first place,
**Natrah asked does anyone care about her feelings? what she's suffering at that time?,
**Che Aminah wanted Natrah to stay as Muslim 'cause that's how she raised her and she's strongly protecting her Aqidah.

These three women suffered the most in this storyline.

I told my Mom that I can never imagine being in her place. Never. I'm so grateful to have such peaceful life despite all the problems I've faced. Natrah has been tested by Allah wayy harder. and about her religion, only Natrah and Allah know it.
